I don't believe a teenager had enough money from babysitting and training horses to rent a New York City apartment. Maybe she did those things, but I'm pretty certain her parents must have supplemented.

I don't remember people being relaxed about politics 5 years ago. It wasn't as nuts as it is now, but most people I knew had pretty strongly held beliefs one way or the other.

And I’m sure they both have family members who can help them out if they need guidance still. Also, it’s a total of 2 months with no parents if the judge makes them serve their time at the same time. These people need to get over themselves.
