Saying CNN shouldn’t have hired Lewandowski is a fair point to make, but it has nothing to do with the Donna Brazile issue at all.

They signed the contract with those terms, she violated her terms of her contact.

Brazile is the DNC chair. How is that not an equally partisan position as Lewandowski working on Trump’s campaign? It is okay to condemn bad behavior among Dems and still vote for the Party, you know.

Right? I had the same reaction. Even without Wikileaks, email is inherently insecure — all it would take is for one disgruntled employee to start forwarding shit around, and bam, it’s all over the news. And Brazile knows as well as anybody that Fox News, etc., are just waiting for some hint of bad news to smear…

Obviously. But an email is infinitely easier to leak than a phone call. Because if someone’s recording your phone calls you already have a massive problem, but an email is stored on multiple locations the second it’s sent and even deleting it doesn’t get rid of it.

Fucking good. She should resign. It’s appalling that she leaked the questions from CNN, or that she even got them in the first place. And setting aside how stupid it was to leak things in general, she should at least have had the damn tradecraft to do it over the phone and not in a fucking email. And also, apparently…
