I like SJP, but all you need to know is that Amy Sedaris is the godmother of her son. She's cool.

I feel like SJP gets a lot of shit for pretty much no reason... aside from the whole “I’m not a feminist” bs.

“She is not baked and done — I’m not either — so let her experiment and delight in the choices she has to make, and let’s be kind to one another.” Yes, let’s.

It’s fascinating to me that anyone cared enough to find out whether this was real or staged. I mean, who cares?

I think treating her like anyone else, unless she asks to be treated differently, is the right approach. If you wouldn’t interact with her otherwise, no need to seek her out, but no need to avoid being friendly if the opportunity arises, and then if she wants to talk about it she will :) You sound like a super

I mean, a size 8 can actually *gasp* go into a store and try things on! I am so used to buying clothes exclusively online, I don’t even know what I’d do with freedom like that.

Because models have to be better looking (face/body) than regular women. If they weren’t, then the whole concept of being a model would be moot.

I really loved her collection - and a lot of stuff shown on runways is a little more daring than what you would buy off the rack - so, that purple dress? Just line it, and it’s gorgeous and special event-worthy.

Is this a joke? This must be a joke. Because... no, this has to be a joke.

Counterpoint: I wear a 24/26 and I think Tim Gunn should shut the fuck up about what fat women want to wear, because we are not a goddamned monolith.

Counterpoint, part two: I am 43 years old and I love almost everything Tipton makes. I want to wear pretty much allll of her clothes.

“Not all of us want that” - so, you

So, what you’re saying is that women might want clothes that fit, look nice, and maybe (GOD FORBID!!!) get noticed? I don’t get it. You are making zero sense here. Why would anyone want to own their look and perhaps even like what they see in the mirror? You’re crazy talking right now. Next you’re going to tell me

I think what Jessica Alba does is irresponsible often. I mean she’s just a 10% owner, but it’s taking advantage of people and can actually have repercussions.

I'm kinda done with Jezebel shitting all over Paltrow...it's played out

One of the reports I read elsewhere said Patricia had stated that most recently Alexis had stopped identifying as transgender and adopted the term “gender suspicious.” Not sure if that explains it.

My brother identifies as transgender, and they haven’t transitioned, but we discussed it and I asked if I can still call them my brother and they said yes. So I assume it’s along those same lines

It is a thing, and it isn’t new. Plenty of ancient cultures mention “co-gender” or “third gender”.

Why don’t we give the grieving brother who clearly lovef Alexis a little more credit. And let’s not use his time of grief as an opportunity to play SJW.

It’s something else.

I kind of read the exact opposite from this statement. It feels like Alexis’s brother was being very careful in his use of language and was very respectful of Alexis’s preferences/wishes.

But they said, Our brother and then our sister and then our brother... so seems like they were recognizing what alexis wanted.
