It’s Barbara Streisand ffs. She knows exactly how that looks.

I don’t know why should would leave this educational experience off her CV:

He’s adorable how dare you blaspheme him!! *hissss*

Honestly? It’s probably Trump rubbing off on her combined with standard misogyny for a beautiful woman.

Big deal.

The women of these games were SO inspiring. And I’m so proud to share a country with these strong and powerful American women. Great job ladies!

I’m not sure how you can claim that we should both respect Caster’s privacy and announce any facts we have. Caster underwent extensive medical testing. The regulatory bodies have the results of those tests. Because of those tests, she was forced to undergo treatment in order to compete (until the Chand case result.)

Way to move the goal post.

They aren’t forcing her to alter her biology. They’re saying that if she wants to race against people with lower testosterone she has to lower them. No one would complain if she raced against men.

I’m willing to wage large sums of money that Joanna Harper is way, way more informed than any commentator on this article, or even the Jezebel author.

I linked my source. But I should know better than to expect people to actually read. That’s a quote from Joanna Harper. From the link:

Get a grip. Ledecky completely obliterated her world record times at these Olympics in the 400 and 800m freestyle. Had she raced in the men’s 400m, her world record time would have been almost 7 seconds behind the 8th place finisher. And while there wasn’t a men’s 800m this year for comparison, Ledecky is the world

If she swam with the men in her events at the olympics she wouldnt medal ever.

Ledecky’s a transcendent, generational talent. But her WR time in the 400 M freestyle would’ve placed her 43rd in the men’s 400 (heats).

She very well might. But she could never beat Michael Phelps or other top make swimmers.

I’m not sure how you could possibly think that, unless you’re willfully ignoring things. Two mins of googling produces this:

Because there would be literally no women who could even qualify (maybe Serena?)

If other events like track or swimming weren't sex-segregated, women just flat out wouldn't win.

What. No. There are clear differences in performances between the genders. A woman would never get on the medal stand. Ever. (Excluding events such as shooting, equestrian, surfing, etc- more skill based than pure strength). While age differences may hinder the athletes in terms of performance, the difference in

“Yet Sharp seems more certain that the overturned rule cinched her loss, and others’ losses too.” Nothing in the linked article indicates this. Sharp says nothing like this at all.
