Yeah, there’s really no logical reason he’s not playing. He’s better, at least, than a couple of bad starters and most backups. There’s all the “oh but the system” bullshit but that’s pretty weak when you think about it. A better QB is still a better QB. At the very least I’m surprised no one took him as a back up.

Far be it for me to criticize Richard Sherman, but if he’s still going to be grumpy with Wilson about SB 49 he might want to consider that they had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter of that game and his number 1, bad-ass, we-never-take-blame-for-anything defense couldn’t hold it. 

I don’t know what happened in the moment as I wasn’t there. I can say this, empirically, even being a Red Sox fan: Adam Jones has more class and dignity in his right pinky finger than Curt Fucking Schilling has in his whole body. I know who I believe in this little saga.

As a black person in America, there will never be a shortage of people who are white who want to give me THEIR take on racism and how it doesn’t exist anymore, how they don’t see it and how they’d never be like that, and I just want to shoot all of them into the sun.

I cannot wait to see Schilling in a debate against Elizabeth Warren. I watched a cat torment a baby squirrel the other day. Broke it up out of pity for the squirrel. I will have no pity for Schilling.

The problem with conservatives is that they let their politics trample all over their humanity. I never really got the appeal of Annie Hall either. Maybe because all of its clever techniques have all been borrowed and refined by decades of other movies and sitcoms? Or maybe because it’s a little harder these days to see Woody Allen as not a total pervert? And your right, it’s a real downer of a movie.
