Agreed. Too many implausible aspects in the case of the week. A woman travels out in the open with three (four) boys whose faces are all over milk cartons, and not one reported sighting of them in all those months? I feel it was just there to show some grisly crime scenes. Not essential.

"Gesture" wasn't maybe the best word, I'd never underestimate the importance of the poppy pin tradition and what they stand for.
 It's just that the poppies get larger and larger, like people want to show off. It makes it less dignified in my eyes.

As much as I appreciate and respect that gesture, it's getting quite overblown in the UK (by which I mean BBC). They start wearing them now in October already and the pins grow bigger every year.
And don't get me started on the glittered ones worn by everyone in Strictly Come Dancing.
