Oops, missed one:
I never wore makeup but I’ve been experimenting with it lately. Always garish — blue lipstick, glitter eyes, stuff that is not “pretty” but like a poisonous snake that warns you away with bright colors. Screw them and their entitlement to how I should look.
This is so good. And mirrors so much of what I feel. Hopeless and angry and just so fucking full of rage at the class of men that I don’t know what to do with myself.
She was 18. If you give it some thought, you’ll realize that “teenager” is a pretty solid answer to “why would you do something that stupid?”
I keep thinking back to my high school English teacher. If I had turned that in as a sentence in an essay, he would have handed it back to me and said “You like to show off? How about you diagram this sentence for the class.”
I have a vague notion but got lost in the mythopoetic stew of shitty writing.
Fuck this Loeb guy all to hell. I usually hate the term “gold-digger,” but he is a woman-hating, misogynist, bullying gold-digger. You know ultimately he is doing this for money, but it’s also to get his rocks off - she left him, but he’s never going to allow her to expunge him from her life. He wants to be a looming…
Does the name Kobayashi Maru sound english to you?
Hi. Before we go any further, I want this to be clear. I’m half-white and half-black. So if you somehow think this is about me trying to excuse white people because I am one, you’re half-right and half-wrong. (A little biracial humor for you there.)
If you’re living in an urban city, things are great for you. But if you’re living in a small town where the biggest employer is a walmart, and you’re deciding between paying the house note or the medical bills, America doesn’t feel great. If your cost of living is high, but your wages are stagnant, America doesn’t…
ummm no......
You’re not going to miss Sidse Babett Knudsen for long. It seemed pretty obvious that the host being built in the basement/lab is going to be her replicant.
Also this... “the photo Ford showed Bernard of a younger Ford and “Arnold”—which last week ended up looking a lot like Ford’s robofather.
Great, great, great episode.
It’s actually pretty decent reception, they come around and perform it in our living rooms. I’ll write a review for Monday morning.
I’m sure you can find a source of ill-repute to get Canadian TV. I’d be surprised if they were broadcast at light frequencies not visible to American eyes.
The 5th element was weird.... and in its very own weirdness, it was an awesome movie.
What a great movie. I’ve seen it a dozen times easily. The acting, mixture of comedy and drama, directing, and the music score were just perfect.
When Fifth Element came out in theaters I think I went to go see it like 7+ times. #multipass
Here is the greatest response an actor can give when he/she is asked a question about his/her sexuality in relation to the character they are portraying:
