You want a plausible conspiracy theory - the fight should have been a draw. All three judges think Pac won rounds 4 and 6 and two of three think he won rounds 9 and 10. The guy scoring the fight in real time for ESPN though Pac won rounds 3-6. So there is some support for the idea that Pac won six rounds - 3, 4, 5, 6,

I heard a radio guy say: Manny will do enough that his camp will say he SHOULD have won, which sets up a rematch. Then Floyd loses the second fight, and that sets up the end all and be all third fight for the tie breaker.

I thought it’d be the other way around since Mayweather’s undefeated record (or risk of losing it, anyway) is part of the appeal. If Mayweather loses fight 1, then there’s not as much on the line for fight 2. But if Mayweather wins fight 1, then they basically get to do it all over again.

So is there a reason no one ever got an 8 score for a round? Why only 9 or 10?

if you believe a widespread campaign of silence and complicity is a more logical explanation than one set of transposed letters.

The financial crisis of 2008 explained in one internet comment.

If I’m not mistaken, Vince Wilfork also skipped this trip. I didn’t hear Screamin’ A mention that. Also, during their Bush-era visits, Brady was a single dude with nothing but free time. Now he has two young children and a wife who I’m sure is quite busy. But yeah, I’m sure Brady’s a total racist and not just a guy

I’ve been waiting and hoping for this since that tweet you posted. It did not disappoint.

I hope this goes viral. This deserves to to be read by everyone.

Thank you for writing this. Was just talking about this same issue yesterday with my wife... Stephen A Smith is already the biggest douche in sports, this just cements his legacy as king douche.

Sean Hannity loves to cite his “friend” SAS whenever he wants to criticize the pants sagging element. That says all you need to know about SAS.

I’m really looking forward to Mayweather’s retirement. He has dodged, ducked, dipped, dived and dodged his way to an undefeated record over very carefully selected competition, but once he stops boxing no one is going to want anything to do with his ass. He knows that and I think it’s why he might never hang them up,

I love this article so much, I want to spoon it and perhaps give it a (concentual) reacharound.

This shit kills me. ESPN pumps out the NFL’s “No More” campaign and spends a ton of airtime talking about domestic violence in football and jumps on top of a story whenever another player is arrested or accused. But for Maywether it’s all “look how great this guy is. He’s a true champion.”

I was kind of making a joke about it in a reply to someone else, but after seeing this weird story:

Beyond the disgrace that is Stephen A, its amazing to me that the media has continued to give Mayweather a pass. When this fight was announced, I thought it could be a blessing in disguise. Yes, Mayweather would get his payday so he could buy more stupid watches and cars. But, in light of the Ray Rice debacle, I

He also called Tom Brady a racist Republican today for skipping the Patriots White House trip, because Brady went all the times they won when Dubya was in office. Wonder what he thinks about black franchise athletes like Michael Jordan who have also skipped White House trips that featured a President of the opposite

This article is definitely not beating the S.A.S. dead horse when it comes to his damaging, and influential, stupidity regarding domestic violence. These types of pieces are important, specifically in this case. ESPN is sending a mixed message, at best (though not really), by also producing the OTL episode about

You don’t often see someone sit next to Skip and look like the dumbest person in the room. Well done Stephen A!

If Stephen A. and ESPN don’t like the coverage you guys are giving to this issue, they should think about all the things they do to provoke it.
