I think this is a good list and so I won’t be “that guy” you can put this at 11. I wish Australian V8 Supercars had a U.S. t.v. contract instead of week old highlight shows.

What I get from this is that everyone got it wrong from Lewis to Wolff. Hamilton sees a trackside screen and decides he needs new tires. Was Mercedes planning to pit Hamilton before the end of the race? What I don’t get is if Mercedes had not intended to pit Hamilton to begin with, why didn’t they tell him that and

Well that answers the question about this driver anyway. He’s an athlete.

Oh shit the pits I almost forgot!

If this happened in N.Y.C. it would have been “Random Dude Yelling Pedestrians Have the Right of Way Asshole” while giving him the finger.

Ah yes. The subjective nature of automobile design rears it’s ugly head.

Since neither one of us is a race car driver I’d say we have nothing to worry about.

Idea. One race of the year playground style. Line the drivers up and have the owners pick teams.

Good. Now maybe he can get a decent haircut and a shirt.

I wouldn’t say I would be a big fan of every car on the list or point out how you got wrong somewhere. But I would say thanks for showing us what someone elses imagination can give us when not restrained by a company’s mandate to follow a certain direction.

Open wheel cars flat out for 500 miles. There may be tracks and racing series that go this fast in places on the track but there is no other race like this.

I think we just invented a cup with a visor.

Stefs new story hopefully addresses this.

Let’s see. Altered aero kits. Lowered downforce. Fastest track they have run so far with these kits. I didn’t go to MIT but.................

I’ve got lasagna in the oven. Now I don’t want it.

No hate. Great bike. The only thing I would add is buying a bike that may fit your purpose. Being like you a sportbike is my first choice. No offense intended but expecting people to exercise good judgement in these matters is has proven itself to be futile.

I’ve always liked this idea because it offers the new rider a chance to get used to riding a motorcycle before they get into a bike that is purpose focused. Bikes respond to driver input in a way no other vehicle does. The response to throttle input is so much quicker than a car and the response to braking is as well.

Yep. Since that’s all that seems to matter to you I would prefer to never meet.

That middle ground you addressed is, to me, more of an issue than the article makes it. While I have to admire his forward thinking and tenacity, I think the lofty goals he aspires to cannot be reached without addressing the mainstream. The only reason someone like Ducati can build the Superlegerra (sorry if I spelled
