Yea, no. People don’t give up their rights because of the actions of the few.
Yea, no. People don’t give up their rights because of the actions of the few.
Then you were around uneducated people.
Then they’re stupid. Just because people use the wrong terms doesnt make it right, especially when they’re completely different.
They’ve been interchangeable by people who don’t know the difference. If a law may or may not be proposed, then one should know the difference. Having a maximum 5 round clip is different than a 5 round magazine.
There isn’t one. A pistol is a type of handgun that doesnt have its ammo in a cylinder. Ipso facto, a revolver is a pistol.
The problem is you have people who don’t know anything wanting to make laws, and people like you not knowing the difference but will follow.
People that actually know a thing or two about firearms, and know there’s completely different...
They’re completely separate things.
Not really. You can load a magazine with a clip. SKS’s used to be like this. So no, its not pedantic.
What about putting a brace on a AR pistol. Does that really change it to some ATF-regulated SBR? (even though they finally woke up and did away with that).
Because NY thinks that having a collapsible stock makes it more assaulty I guess.
The ATF isn’t exactly known for common sense. According to them (until they just recently changed it), you could buy an AR pistol and it was fine. But if you put it to your shoulder, or bought a brace and put it to your shoulder, all of a sudden it was an SBR and subject to regulations.
And what do you propose about the 300 million that are already out and about? Records werent even required to be kept until the early 80's.
You should have bought a few. They’re going for around $800-$1000 on gunbroker now.
Technically, you’re right. Mechanically you’re wrong.
Yea, lets take away the rights of many for the actions of the few. Around 300 million guns sat in their safes yesterday and didnt do anything.
Yea, I dont see the point of these. I’m pro 2nd amendment, but when I first saw these, a) it looks expensive/wasteful as hell, and b) looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen
Wrong. They regulate suppressors as well, and its an accessory.
Haha, good luck confiscating the 300+ million guns that are already out there (that the government knows about).
It’s a blogger writing for a liberal site. Doubtful he knows anything about guns. He thinks a ‘clip’ and ‘magazine’ are interchangeable.
