I get all that. What I am arguing is that the very nature of who God is is dependent on what you believe he did or didn’t do. In that sense you cannot say these religions share the same God.

Nope. How can you say the God is the same and then go on to say that each group worships Gods that are different from each other? One God gave Jesus as his son, the other didn’t. What you’ve said isn’t logical.
