I don’t think they are trying to replace the Xbox or PS. It’s pretty evident in the way they are marketing the Switch. Obviously, with Vita so close to its death, the Switch would make a decent replacement that would allow players to play higher-than-Vita grade games on the new mobile device.

That depends on how the animals are being marketed. Some pure-breed animals are marketed as premium quality food, and consumers are incentivised to purchase them due to the quality and branding.
