No idea what the NX is, but I kind of want to play the Nintendo titles after skipping the Wii-U. I have my PC for the other games, so the power of NX is not what I am going for.

It’s the exlusive titles that I want. I mainly game on my PC which has a GTX 980, it would last me a few more years for the non-Nintendo games at least.

If the developers are willing to spend resources on older titles...then yes. 60fps probably should not be your top priority for getting the Pro, it’s more for VR/4K.

Precisely. I doubt that the lack of VR support for the next 1 or 2 years would be a deal breaker for most.

Let me make this clear, I did not mention that Microsoft would launch new-model-only games. The same would apply to to Sony. Since that is the case, users would be less compelled to upgrade. Why not wait and see what Microsoft’s Scorpio is then?

Didn’t they say that the devices would all play the same games? It would be worth getting the Pro if it would have Pro-only games in the future, otherwise, it is going to last as long as the Slim would, isn’t it...?

That would depend on whether people want to upgrade to a console that plays the same games...or wait to see what the competitor has to offer. Since the PS4 Pro does not offer new games, I doubt that users would be as eager to upgrade. In my opinion, there really isn’t any hurry to upgrade.

There are other models for that. As shown by the Chinese market several years ago, the so called “developing” level of income does not favour premium phones that are close to $1000 (which the Note 7 is).

Playing Spore is like playing No Man’s Sky 10 years after release, at $4.99 price. The Spore experience is pretty decent for that price. The aged visuals made it look funny, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
