Also note that if you have any hue bulbs and the power goes out during the middle of the night as soon as the power comes back on all of your lights come on at 100% brightness as well. This happened to me at 4am a few weeks ago. It was handy that I didn’t have to get out of bed to turn them all off, but still not ideal

If you have any south or west facing windows, open the blinds or curtains covering them once the sun hits them. In my office it gets quite warm around 3 or 4 in the afternoon because we have so many west facing windows.

I accidentally made awesome chicken broth doing this. I was just trying to boil some chicken in my instant pot and threw in some rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. It was delicious.

My little sister once got a popcorn kernel stuck up her nose. This would have been good to know since we ended up having to take her to the pediatrician and he used a tube that inflated on one end to help get it out.
