The Rivian is a genuinely good deal for the price they’re asking. I thought this when it was first announced, and I think it even more after reading this comparison article. 

That’s likely intentional to push buyers into higher priced trims (better margins for Ford), otherwise most buyers would likely opt for the Pro + extended pack.

Oddly enough, as a regular person with a regular job, I pay quite a bit of my income in taxes, percentage-wise. Somewhere to the tune of nearly 30%, between federal and state (not including sales, etc.).
