Was her being black a contributing factor of her death ?

I’m surprised it took this long. Also, the fact that no one has been criminally charged for negligence is also surprising. I work in healthcare and if my willful action lead to the death of one person, let alone hundreds, I probably would never be able to work in my field anymore.

Yes the hybrid Highlander does get impressive mpg with a trade off: towing. I would consider it but I would need to be able to tow by boat occasionally. PHEV is the future, especially with decent electric only range and good towing capacity.

That 3rd row in the Tiguan is a third row by name only. Anyone really needing a third row won’t consider it.

Or....a Telluride (When dealers stop asking stupid markups)

Did you manage to get any kind of deal? I’ve been looking at Tellurides and refuse to pay dealer markup.

I mean, if you can spring for the Aviator and you have disposable income its a no brainer. The engine/powertrain combo is incredible. If you need the best all around family hauler? Telluride. No lease numbers should even be remotely close to that 1k budget except the Aviator.

There’s nothing really large about the Highlander’s interior/exterior dimensions but I get your point. If I really needed a large 3 row, Highlander would be the last place to look.

literally the best interior of any SUV for functional use with a family I’ve seen” Nope, Telluride still holding on to that distinction. Third row of the Highlander is basically unusable for anyone besides midgets.

Provided you can find a Kia dealer not charging thousands over sticker. Top trim Tellurides are all over 50k where I live.

That’s not really that ancient, I mean Telluride/Palisade is about the same and VW Atlas is even less I think.

It would be pretty impressive if you were able to, Brad.

Internet bullying, ya’ll aren’t that differnet from the president.

Another box checked for SUV’s. My 4runner eats potholes and speedbumps like a champ.

“Better looking Palisade” is definitely subjective.

Eh, I test drove and compared the Explorer Platinum and Kia Telluride SX pretty much side by side and the the KIA absolutely wipes the floor with the Explorer at like $14k less. The Explorer comes ahead in power train but besides that interior quality was atrocious for a $60k SUV. There was more loose plastic trim and

If you think about it, if the PHEV EV only range works for most people and their daily commute, I becomes an issue of efficiency, lugging around all those ICE components and extra weight to be barely used. I think of PHEV’s are enhanced hybrids. I mean you have to turn the gas engine on at some point to keep fluids

It’s not the worst new-ish feature out there. Makes nighttime driving a little less annoying. Better yet, now less people will be out on the roads who leave their high beams on all the goddamn time at night. Is this really a feature to get that upset about though? Rain sensing wipers, maybe?

Lol have you been living under a rock?

Seriously, I went to test drive a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum. It looked like they never bothered finishing making the car at the factory. Trim pieces were coming apart, there were random gaps by the door handles.
