Test: Do you call your mother that female that birthed you? I’ve never heard a man who loves their mother EVER refer to her as a female. Female is NEVER something men use when they respect a woman. Enough said.

Dudes were clinging to her alleged racist tweets like their lives depended on it.

Women: Please don’t call us females. It’s like you are politely trying to say bitch. Just use my name, profession, or women.

Hi,

ROOO, girl you should have wagered money on this. Cause they are HEREEEE….to explain to us little ladies why being called female isn’t offensive at all. Which really translate to, “At least you aren’t being called a bitch, pigeon, or ho, so why are you complaining??” Also, it’s your fault since you won’t give us your

That is the least metrosexual or cosmopolitan take possible.

Try cisgender, it does what you are trying to accomplish without the unnecessary transphobic/sexist language.

Must be a military thing because I have heard plenty of men refer to women as “females” (often with this weird emphasis on the first syllable) but never refer to men as “males”. In civilian life this appears to be a guy thing. Seems simple enough if you are told that it’s rude to say “female” to just call us women

“There was no intent behind it, just an equal, non-sexist method of referring to soldiers of different genders.”

Yeah I’m going to have to call BS on that. Just because it is used casually, doesn’t make it ok. Does anyone ever say “have a male do it”? Nah, never.

You can try to frame it as a personal sensitivity, but

I’m not talking about people who use female AND male with the same frequency. But people who use “female” to address women and “men/man” to address men.

Men who say females like it’s proper -douche.

The thing that is very telling is the same people who use “female” almost never use “male” in the same context. They will say something like, “men don’t like when females do xyz” - you see it on social media constantly. You even hear women speaking like this. It’s misogynistic bs.

Too banal to be shamed into believing its equivalent to actual misogynistic language that peppers our vernacular.

“Have that female do this”

Apparently they have discovered the reporter tweeted some racist stuff in her past. Twitter is roasting her. Roast her all you want, but Cam was still wrong.

Not surprised - given how his sartorial offences are regularly at orange alert level of f*ckery, he couldn’t be expected to have a lick of sense. Idiat.

Glad you said it, cause I’m sick as shit of seeing black men using the term thinking that its the proper/only alternative to “bitch”.

This is going to sound like I am Stretch Armstrong-ing it up... Being called a ‘female’ is annoying. But being called a ‘female’ while non-Black women are being called ‘girls/gals’, ‘women’, ‘chicks’ or even ‘ladies’ (which is said by the same men, who will call me ‘female’) is pretty-fucking-infuriating.

No mental health problem. Lot’s of people suffer from mental health issues, few collect 23 weapons in a hotel room and another 19 at their home. Few set up a sniper position over a massive crowd.

Thank you for this.
