It all depends on value. If the app is a new app with new features and new fancy awesomeness then I might. If it's the same app that I purchased prior then I'll just use it as is.

Well said. There are many similarities but needs are still different for different people and some of those things, like a removable battery, are more important for some people and that's why it isn't all a single form factor.

There is always room for improvement. Lifehacking is nothing more than education. Taking those hints, tricks and ideas that improve your quality of life. I've used tons of hacks written about on these sites and my life is easier now because of them.

For reals. I've tried these methods (the dryer works ok) and they don't work. An hour long shower helps but I'm hardly saving time at that point not to mention the wrinkly toes.
