Apparently it’s better than what Virtue’s Last Reward got..

100K for a japanese import of a game that’s not Final Fantasy/Nintendo (or we could say that’s niche) is really good. Not to mention the merch they sell. It’s a fantastic series and I’m glad it did well.

Great timing too. The Sony Golden Week sale is on. Huge discounts on a ton of Japanese titles I’ve just bought two Vita titles yesterday myself.

I don’t think the budgets for those games are public knowledge (developers, especially in Japan, are secretive about these things) but they’re small-scale games with small teams, so I imagine these numbers are pretty good.

Heck, I’m still replaying Persona 4 repeatedly as well as Disgaea 4. And Killzone. And Silent Hill: Book of Memories (which people say isn’t even a good game, though I beg to differ). And Sou Sacrifice. And Hotline Miami. And Chinatown wars.

I know exactly what you mean. I barely touch my 3DS nowadays. It has some nice games but most of them don’t appeal to me at all. Most of my 3DS games, I barely put 20 hours in.

Those games are what convinced me to finally buy a Vita. Just after getting a raise it was my first purchase.

Yes, please pay attention. I don’t get why Sony acts like the vita doesn’t exist. Personally I have played the vita more than any other system in the last year (even the ps4!) It is a great system (bar the memory cards prices) and could seriously compete with the 3ds if Sony could get more of the systems selling. So…
