Four, none of those questions are relevant to the law being passed.

Nea, they have to impress the red states, too.
I don’t get the machismo for open carry. It’s like wearing a big lit-up sign that says “Shoot me first!” However, open carriers do have value. If you find yourself in a Pulp Fiction situation the armed assailants will hopefully be too focused on the open-carrier to notice all the unarmed people running and hiding.
You can wait, you’ve got time. What do we expect from the person on the other end of the arm in that situation? To stand there and wait, then react in a millisecond after they manage to somehow positively identify a quickly moving object in close quarters?
“He was holding a phone in his right hand and went to protect the seat-belt latch with his left hand so they could not unbuckle him. They shot him before he could have drawn the gun if he had been able to unholster it from that position. He would be drawing left handed and been unable to aim at anyone on the driver’s…
Agreed. The guy died for now reason. Had he simply acted like an adult and either:
A: Handed over his ID
B: Claim he had no ID and then gone from there
C: Stepped out of the car when asked
But whatev’s. I suppose in his eyes it was worth dying for “ his freeeeeedom”
Officer: “Hey, tow truck driver, we want you to hook up this car while it has an uncooperative guy with a gun in it.”
Tow truck driver: “Yeah, that’s gonna be a no from me, dawg.”
These sovereign citizen people are assholes, did he need to die? no. But we are a society of rules and laws, this kid needed to learn a lesson but this wasn’t it.
But why does a traffic stop end up in a hail of bullets? The officers could have left this clown in his car and just called in a tow-truck. That dude would have been out of his car pretty quickly once a wheel was clamped and the car lifted. If he still didn’t come out, then lock him in a compound until he decided to…
But the reaction these cops had was INSTANT.
Whether you like it or not, illegal or not, had the guy not been acting shady he would still be alive. When I get pulled over- which has happened at least 5 times- I do exactly as I am asked, hand over my ID and there. Done. And it sounds like you don’t understand how the law works. If a police officer pulls you over,…
For people feeling bad for his family, they 100% believe the same junk. His parents talked about he was a “patriot who stood up for his beliefs.”
We also know that sovereign citizens have a history of attacking police. And if he truly thought the police had no authority over him, why did he pull over in the first place?
What’s your theory on the holster on the kid’s hip? When the cop reached in and pulled his body out, did he also string the belt through his pants to cover his tracks? Or was the kid driving around with an empty holster and this was just serendipity?
Arrest for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
He lost his right to due process when he went for his gun. AND by his own definition as a “sovereign citizen “, I would say that he has no rights under our Constitution.
This person was deprived of their right to due process.

Allan lost his life — that fact is a true tragedy.
I can’t help but feel a little bad for folks led astray by these types of movements.
