Man, this is just like over at Lifehacker....
A certain “writer” (who will not be named) over there always does this.... Click this link to read the whole story.....
Ummmm no.....

head over to Bloomberg and read the whole thing be greeted with a paywall.

there is no governor.  they set this up to do max time attack on goodwood and didnt change anything.  he says so in the video.  its geared to hit 150 and thats it.  thats part of why the acceleration times are so amazing.

That’s not me telling myself that. That’s me reading updates on the progress on the plant in Texas which had to get built before Cybertruck production would be possible.

and the Cybertruck production is starting late next year.

I guess you could draw all sorts of conclusions here but there are corroborating statistics that look at vaccine acceptance and things like education, political position, religious belief, climate change, conspiracy theories, etc.

Ford is selling the crap out of the Mach E. It’s absolutely a success.

Journalist? Guys, please. My eyes are rolling so hard I’m going to get a fucking aneurysm. Christiane Amanpour is a journalist. This is 2022, no one is a real journalist. It’s just people typing away and publishing on the fly.

Nonsense, he can engineer the complete failure of a massive corporation and seems intent on doing so.

I can’t imagine it gave them any more faith that he took engineers from the Autopilot program and made them become moderators for Twitter. Because lord knows those are intersecting talents. He only needed to do this because he gleefully fired the Twitter employees with years of experience doing that job.

I don’t watch cable anything. I don’t watch news period. I actually use the news bias chart to insure that I get balanced points of view and avoid any outlet that is too far from the center (Jalopnik sometimes excepted). Because I skew left, I read Wall Street Journal first every day so I can check myself. My anti

That cat’s out of the bag, dude.

I’m really curious how, given that the vast majority of people on the planet are now “online” in the year of our lord 2022, and given that there is no fucking possible way that you could assess the breadth and depth of peoples’ opinions more extensively offline, why you would absurdly assume you somehow are better

3rd Gear: “The issue seems to come down to demand” is a sentence that should make Tesla investors rather queasy. As someone who lives on the West coast (Portlander here), Tesla’s have been ubiquitous on the roads here for the last ~4 years. While anecdotes are not data, the common theme among Tesla owners here are

He’s not good at anything except being divorced.

Tesla is squandering their lead and I would not be surprised if they are a cautionary tale in 10-15 years.

Customer has received truck. Please note the singular was used on both ends of the previous sentence.

There are already EV semis - The Kenworth T608e, Freightliner eCascadia, and Volvo VNR among others. Tesla is late to the game and trying to sell an unproven vehicle in a market they don’t seem to understand. Even if the their electric driveline is stellar they will have teething issues with a new cab and chassis.

HD had to spin Livewire off as a separate brand. HD owners aren’t interested in electric bikes, they simply aren’t going there. The electric bike-curious aren’t going to a HD dealer to be treated with disdain by the sales associate wearing the 15 pieces of patch flair on their leather vest, and I’m not passing along
