Huh. I had no idea that existed, or at least, I can’t remember ever seeing one.

I simply do not understand for the life of me, why anyone would bemoan a new practical, reliable, fun-to drive manual hatchback. Something that you can enjoy driving for fun and something that can haul a handful of people with their shit, too.

Beak/Shield < Diamond Pentagon < most other grilles

If it didn’t have a giant “INTEGRA” graphic on the side I wouldn’t know it was a new model.

It’s a copy/paste of the TLX is what I’m getting at:

It just seems like they eliminated the Civic SI hatch to save a market for the new Integra. If you really want a warm Honda hatchback, you now will have to spend an extra ~$3000 and get the Integra.

As I’ve commented to others, I hope this succeeds. I simply think it was a stupid route for Honda to take if they want it to actually succeed. Time will tell.

My thoughts exactly. This doesn’t look like a new Integra, but just the second gen ILX.

20 years ago, I badly wanted an RSX. It wasn’t the Integra, but it was still cool. I deeply regret not getting one, though I had the means. I was 28. The first Fast movie was in theaters. I was, admittedly, too old to be cool (in this late capitalist society, life ends at 25). But it could have worked.

Whelp, that's a disappointment. Jesus Acura sucks now.

Thanks, I hate it.

I agree, I am seeing more of theses on scenic drives on nice days and as much as I want to like them... I will get use to them. Still the performance/$ is outstanding.

The new Z06 will help continue to cement the Corvette’s reputation as one of the best bargains in the performance world. With that said, after seeing a few C7s around town and about a dozen or so in Key West just recently, I can’t get behind its appearance and really prefer the Vette look on a front-engine car

This is the first Vette I’d consider buying since the C6 ZO6.

point to a starting price around the mid-$80,000 mark.

Do they have to wear a seatbelt, because I just worked out a way around the abortion restriction.

Everyone else rated it fucking ugly though?

All the other cars listed in the article have pretty good aero, but they don’t have anywhere near the “soap” aesthetic of the Mercedes (pretty fitting description, I couldn’t quite think of a term to describe it). I also think it’s a miss in styling. Only consolidation prize it’s still a ton better than BMW’s latest

I do not like the “bar of soap” aesthetic that Mercedes went with for the EQ cars. I get that they were chasing efficiency, but I think they all look pretty bland and boring.

I never really paid attention to this car, so I’m just now realizing how strikingly ugly it is.
