Correction: cars with manuals that will continue to survive are $60-$90k and only a couple of outliers are less.

They would also like it if all cars only came in grey tones.
Not bullshit, I’ve driven manuals for about 50% of my driving career, with the manual 50% sandwiched between two 25% blocks of automatic. I found/find myself more easily distracted/having more lapses in the automatics. Lazier driving overall with everything in the automatics, even parking.
I drove in I66 rush-hour traffic in the DMV metro area for years with a stout 1990s-era clutched manual Corvette and it didn’t much matter vs. automatics. You either hold the clutch and occasionally ease up to crawl a few feet or you occasionally add gas to do the same thing. Either way you are also operating the…
So...fake keyboards? Functionally deficient keyboards?
The what, now?
Ihappen to like the zippy lights (my car has them, lul), but Audi is definitely toeing the line between spectacular and tacky. Better in the lighting department than in...other...ways (looking at you, BMW!).
To be fair, back then everybody was just sticking a dozen individual LEDs around each light instead of sculpting a design with light tubes. That approach looked as terrible on the Audis as it did everywhere else.
We probably will, they are fixed patterns. It’s the wiggly stuff that the Feds don’t like.
And aesthetically, it was both not at all Halo-esque and not at all pleasing to hear.
Given the attraction Tesla, BMW, Audi, and MB are showing for “car features as a service”, I’m not optimistic. Mods make it hard to offer features as a service when you can just hack around the lock-outs.
Washington Wizards would have the right amount of subtlety and tone deafne—hold on a minute...
Does a fuel pump even technically count as power-train? Seems like counting the AC compressor as powertrain when it’s not...it’s HVAC.
You are supposed to exercise parental discretion over what content your kid has access to, jeez. Do you also let your kids surf RedTube and CNN!?
I see Scotty Kilmer in my YouTube feed a lot because I watched one of his videos for about 2 minutes. Without googling him, I have no idea who the fuck he is or why his channel is so big, but he came across as a somebody who knows enough to be dangerous but not enough to enlighten or educate. And his disposition sucks.
Star Wars and most sci-fi layer that noise underneath other noises. Many of the sounds in Star Wars are, in fact, internal combustion noises and other road sounds that have had various alterations applied to them.
Don’t get too excited, the manufacturers would LOVE to lock down access to vehicle mods using both legislation and encryption. Until they get firmly shot down, my enthusiasm is tamped.
Damn, that makes even a Volvo twin-charged weed-whacker sound good.
Absolutely mediocre.
I hope so. The aesthetic is disjointed; they are literally injecting elements from Reach, Halo 3, and Halo 4/5 into one game and then fucking with some things that ought not to be fucked with and it looks terrible because all three/four of those games have incompatible art.
