You’re complaint is targeting inevitable technology. Blame Facebook all you want, but the technology they are building is going to be built, regardless if they do it or not.
For me, technology should make my life easier. If I have to think about it constantly (starting an app, storage on my phone, mounting my phone) then it’s just not worth it.
They can be, just like any other component you can install on a car. I routed my wires through the headboard and down to the plug, completely unnoticeable.
This solution has a flaw, you have to set it up every single time you get in your car and want to drive. Annoying.
If there’s no real reason to get onboard with an idea other than all the cool kids are doing it, it’s a fad.
All of the criticisms of internet.org I’ve heard never come with a viable alternative solution to the problem.
