How long until I see a four door JL with 35s, rockstars, and no doors (feet hanging out) and light bars on going 20 over on a backroad running a foot into the oncoming lane?
Yes, and people justify it by saying they are changing into a gap that they know to be clear so nobody needs to know their intention. This becomes a problem though when cars are making a right turn out of something like a shopping center onto a 2 or 3 lane divided road with heavy traffic where you kinda have to pull…
Just needs bigger wheels and it would be more handsome than modern acuras
You’re a nerd
Yes but it was part of a point he was trying to make but you ignored it and only refuted that a brz is better than a 25 year old Miata. I could quote one sentence out of any of your replies and make it sound like you had no point
You responded to this: “You know what’s even more fun, having the same fun on twisty roads AND being able to pass cars on regular ones and highways. Also, 1990s miatas weighted 2100 lbs, and in the USA, RX8s had 240 hp, and weight about the same as a BRZ, so, your examples just make the BRZ look worse.”
The point is it’s about as good as old ass cars. And your example of the rx8 is the same weight and more power and older so that was clearly his point.
It was 20+ years ago. You seem to not get his argument.
A road?
It’s overstyled but nowhere near the mess of the civic
If the Impreza looked like that it would be a HOT seller. Throw the old legacy gt interior in too. The wrx is a great value but the current gen is meh.
Yeah he was moving pretty quick so it’s not that there was a blind spot in my mirrors really but just that the timing made it invisible in each mirror I looked at at the time I did
I’m familiar with the proper aiming (way farther outward than most people have theirs and barely overlapping with the rear view). I used this setup for a while in my large SUV and always was still a little uneasy not checking my blind spot, and it paid off one time when I saw nothing in all mirrors and glanced quickly…
And the maximas pinched off semi floating pillar in my opinion is tragically bad whereas the raked back black roof on the Camry is relatively tame and even kinda striking with the white paint. That being said neither design is something thatll stand the test of time, but outside of our little auto enthusiast bubble…
well luckily in the real world the GT has been running a lot less than a comparable SS. They can afford to catch up a little as long as they stay within that range.
$500 may not be a big deal on some car purchases but thats more than a 10% difference in this case. 10% on an average new car purchase would be thousands of dollars.
Agreed, its like they chose to add visual bulk. My original statement should be qualified with “for a modern overstyled sedan”
