Why is that worse than paying $5k? If you pay $2k more than you had to, arent you getting “ripped off” just as much as somebody who is selling something under market value? If the seller leaves money on the table, assuming they are of sound mind and could do their own research, I dont see how the buyer is at fault.

If you are selling something and want a fair price, do your research. If you don’t and get “ripped off” by somebody who did do their research, boo hoo.

I love the looks but cant really give them THAT much credit. A hatchback has to be the easiest type of car to style ever. The GTI has always looked good because it is just the generic sillouhette shape youd imagine when you hear “hatchback” Sort of the greyed out generic hatch in a videogame.

Yep, and the weirdest part is that it used to be TWO left turn lanes and the jughandle, but then they did a massive rework of the whole road. The entire thing was torn up and redone and they STILL put a left turn lane and a jughandle. At least one of the left turn lanes became a through lane and its now 3 lanes in…

It is pointless, but I take advantage of it since I know the intersection well. The turn lane is red when the straight lanes are green (no left turn yield) so if the straight lanes are green you go to the jughandle and wait for the cycle. If the straight lanes are red and cross traffic is going, you go to the left…

I immediately regretted saying something bad about minivans, I knew id get a ton of responses. Badmouth minivans, miatas, the BRZ, or wagons and its game over on jalopnik. Granted, I like most of those things so its okay.

Yeah minivans from that era are sweet. Not quite the same style the americans had but I grew up in a first gen odyssey. I saw one on the road for the first time in years and its smaller than all the CUVs we are used to seeing. Compared to the current odyssey its a baby.
