I agree and shouldnt have worded it like that. Cargo capacity somewhat implies interior space.

Its not the new jersey drivers that tip the attendants its everybody else. Im from PA and most people here tip the attendants in Jersey because they arent used to it.

Like my original comment said, I am more implying the ridgeline is a great adventure vehicle, not that a minivan is worse for cargo. The ridgeline is pretty much an odyssey with that 4x5 section cut out. For things like kayaks, bikes, etc. a lot of people would much rather leave the cabin for passengers at all

I hate headrests that jut out like that, I can never get comfortable unless I have it leaned back quite a bit and even then it feels weird.

To put kayaks in that youd have to have one or both of the middle seats down, so 2 or 3 passengers vs 5. I know that is a very specific example but there is a huge difference with a minivan where you configure the interior how you want, sacrificing passengers for space or space for passengers. In the ridgeline you

1 or 2 lane traffic circles in a medium traffic situation are like magic. Zero wait times even with two main roads intersecting.

Do you mean two lanes in each direction or two lanes total? If its two lanes total a traffic circle would eliminate ALL traffic. Even if its two lanes in each direction a circle would greatly reduce traffic.

The turn (Left, 4 lane divided highway) into my neighborhood has a left turn lane and also a jughandle on the right which takes you onto the exact same road. They both have their own turn in the light cycle. What. the. fuck.

traffic circles are amazing

My sentiments on lexus are based on a 1998 GS sooo....not the most up to date. My brothers 06 Accord does indeed have nice seats though. I wonder if the ridgeline stacks up though?

There are families that dont need the passenger space of the minivan, but would benefits a lot from extra cargo space. Im tired of hearing the get a minivan response all over Jalopnik. A minivan is literally ONLY good for people carrying. Why is it that people assume every family needs 7 seats and middle captains

Thats a shame because Lexus has good seats and the limited trim Toyotas should just get those.

1st gens with that grille are sweet. I really like that topper and white  car with black accents is always sexy.

Whenever theres no new jalopnik content I go to the comments on fusion and theroot articles. It is VERY entertaining.

Pshh, all you’re proving is that Trump is a BETTER racist than Henry Ford.

If anything it probably means he DOES know how to equip a tow rig.

eh, I feel like its being bought as an adventure vehicle, which its perfect for. Think subaru crowd that wants a bed. I most often see them with a couple kayaks in the bed and a family of 5 in the cab. People carrier with a bed is a nice formula for those who dont need the towing capability of a truck.

And this is the configuration 90% of people would want anyways. I would take a long bed but not sacrifice the crew cab. The point of the ridgeline is that its a people carrier with the added bonus of a bed, so the crew cab is essential.

Its becaues the front of the new one looks like a Pilot, which is a hideous egg. The old one in the right trim actually had an aggresive trucklike front without looking ridiculous like American full sized trucks do. The whole rest of the truck though, the new one is much better looking, and quite attractive.

SS is a way better car anyways so you came out on top
