This is incredible...

Dealership owners are crazy rich and all they do is herd around a bunch of salespeople and encourage them to rip people off. I am friends with people from dealership families and they will never need to find a job because they just inherit one of the several dealerships the family owns. Must be nice.

I got literally 18 replies saying the exact same thing. Just so you all know, I know that there are other languages in the world.

Because you can get almost as good or equally as good parts for way cheaper than the dealer sometimes. And you fix the car yourself to save money on labor, not to put inferior and unsafe parts in your car. A lot of the time the better part is barely more expensive than the shit one too.

The german cars are in a higher price bracket that American cars dont even compete in here in America. The WRX/STI though, im sure if drivers there enjoy those theyd also enjoy a Focus ST/RS. Mustangs and Camaros are big so I guess they dont appeal as much, but maybe ATS/CTS-V and corvette?

Yeah this is true but Oil written in english AND the symbol would cover a lot of bases. But who cares if you mess it up you deserve it anyways.

This is what I was trying to explain above. All the computer does is what rockauto does when you enter your car make and model. Then you, using knowledge from other owners, forums, etc. pick the brand you feel comfortable with. Imagine shopping rockauto but you had to buy the first one on the list every time.

I went through this when I built an electric lawnmower in college (Dont ask). Id have to tell them some random ass make and model and even trim level just to get some basic part.

Hmm...must use 7w10 oil. Special order I guess.

What performance cars do people buy there? Fullsized trucks? Americans dont buy american crossovers that much either

For spark plugs, I am not just randomly choosing one. I am obviously using the right goddamned year and model im not a retard. If you look up the recommended plugs for your engine and go to advanced, they will NOT recommend the recommended plug.

“If you cant see my cameras, I cant see you!”

Thats probably a product of taxes and all that. American cars are big, and may be tasteless in your opinion, but they are usually good value for the dollar (In the US market where you can get them at actual price).

Honestly the value all comes from Musk himself. People really see something in him and I guess that carries over to the valuation

That really is the worst. My friend who builds engines and has a 700whp ls1 camaro didnt get a job at Advanced Auto Parts because he “thought he knew better than the computer” which he DOES.

In the US market they definitely should be since there isnt much of a language barrier. Or better yet, a symbol AND text. Its crazy the engineering that goes into these cars but little things that drivers may mess up go unnoticed (Its not the engineers fault but still). Also not everybody buys their car new and has

Like I said, if the IDs fail to meet national standards it would restrict them from traveling without a passport or some other form of ID. And it is not more accurate to anybody since the field says sex not gender.

Yeah I mean language barrier is the obvious reason but I was thinking US market where every car is completely tailored to the US already. Might as well make the oil cap idiot proof as well.

I mean honestly though, why does it have an image and not the word oil?

Reminds me of the family guy episode where tiny tom cruiser stalks Stewie
