We are getting awfully loose with the term “tonight” if the AVC is putting this up before even Wednesday night’s shows have aired.

I had no idea this was going to be ready so soon and I’m so happy. There isn’t a single film I’m looking forward to more than this one. The first World of Tomorrow is still the best film of 2015 and a wonderful work of art.

Beware, that account is a fake.

Unfriended was surprisingly solid and with a bit better acting and a different final shot, could have been great. In terms of names that threw me off, finding out that William Moseley is a distinct person from great genre stalwart Will Moseley is the most disappointing (but hey, at least it has Connor Paolo of

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Wet, Dry, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The finale was pretty much perfect for the show so I’m fine with letting things lie, but considering how much I loved the show, I know full well I’d be excited as hell if this got made and enjoy the heck out of it. Still, “people are talking about it” means somewhere between jack and shit so it’s hardly worth getting

Despite being a staunch defender of the Snyder film (in both theatrical and director’s cuts), I’m still curious to see what a TV adaptation, specifically by HBO, has to offer. The final 2 seasons of The Leftovers were very good and likely more indicative of the quality of this than any of Lindelof’s film writing work

Jamie Lee Curtis may be bringing the “fun”, but presumably Noah Wyle will be bringing the “er” and Paul Simon will be bringing the “al”.

Cause that’s how I talk! You ain’t never seen my movies?!

Worked most of it and reconfirmed that being at a party with a bunch of drunk people is far too loud for me and still very much not my thing but at least I talked to some people.

Airplane!, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, and Hangmen Also Die! are awesome, the original Ransom! from 1956, Tora!, Tora!, Tora!, Viva Zapata!, The Informant!, and Mars Attacks! are good and Tokyo!, Top Secret!, Seven Up!, I Want to Live!, O, Lucky Man!, That Thing You Do!,

How is this news? This is basically the case for movies, games, etc. Critically acclaimed has never correlated all the much to visibility or popularity and it is not likely to change any time soon. I’m sure if you did this with non-critically acclaimed show on the cable and streaming shows you will get even worse

An absolute delight whenever he would show up and it’s hard to even think of a favorite role though Paris, Texas first comes to mind. He had a hell of a run RIP.

After the first I really questioned if there was anything to be gained by expanding on the stuff that worked so well in part because it felt so developed yet vague. After 2 turned out to be even better, I now have no desire to doubt the series any more (which is of course the point when most series take the

This was a remarkably predictable and disappointing episode that may be my least favorite yet. It took the fabulous ending to “Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind” (which coincidentally I had just been complaining or at least wondering to a friend last week that they still hadn’t picked it up that plotline) and

Been playing Donkey Kong Country 2 and despite being terrible at platformers, I have actually gotten further this time around than any of my previous attempts either on the SNES or the Gameboy (the version I grew up with) which is satisfying as heck. It’s just a really well designed game with a nice balance between

Maybe they should blame the fact that trying to cater to everyone caters to no one, that plenty of the busts (relative or otherwise) came from running various series into the ground (seen by the almost universal decays in various series), blockbusters are spread out more and more throughout the year, and the

I got my mourning for the show out last night and while normally I’d be inclined to question why this news (which was announced before the Killjoys renewal) is only now making it to the AVC but instead I’ll point out that this show also starred Jodelle Ferland who was the star of the great and underrated Tideland (as

I’m really bummed about Dark Matter being done even if it became fun characters in search of a decent plot towards the end but I’m excited to see Killjoys back and get a firm end date. I’ve loved the Killjoys/Dark Matter/now also Wynonna Earp block that Syfy had made and it’s been a large part of their revitalization

Not to mention that the only description more than a sentence isn’t even accurate. Maisie Richardson-Sellers joined the show last year.
