It's not often that you can say that one man invented an entire genre but Romero did just that with the modern zombie film. His first 3 Dead films are great with Dawn being one of the greatest horror films ever made and Night being the one I have seen probably most in my life. He broke boundaries in depictions of

I'm all for this pattern of casting talented and established actors in the lead role. I'll be honest, didn't expect them to actually a woman but I'm excited to see it and how it changes things. Plus, considering the history of the Doctor's regenerations being considered a reaction to the previous version

Nah, they are going to go for the wide appeal of Helen Mirren.

I really hope she isn't Typhoid Mary for the mere reason that her first appearance just killed my enthusiasm for what had been a fantastic run on Daredevil. She was far too ridiculous and out of place for the tone of the story at that point.

Suicide Squad is quite possibly the worst superhero movie I've ever seen (Catwoman may be the only real competition) so what better to fix that than to hire mediocrity personified. Orphan and House of Wax couldn't even reach that but otherwise his films are silly and instantly forgettable.

I really wish we had gotten more seasons of it but all the roles that vets of the show are getting is a nice consolation prize.

I prefer to expect Dreamcatcher quality and then be pleasantly surprised by anything better.

It's already been done well twice with Hellboy and The Amazing Screw-On Head so absolutely.

I can't comment on Lost City of Z but I would probably recuse myself from either side. Both people I went with gave the movie a resounding "meh" despite one being a sucker for action titles and the other for the kind of humor in these types of films. So I guess I'd just say go with your gut on this one.

One of my biggest problems with Baby Driver (a movie I liked even though it was largely disappointing) was how much it looked like any old modern action movie with all the quick cuts, car chases that have long since started to all blur together, and generally lacking any of the style the action in his prior films did.

Not really, since at this point Fallout is far more famous than he is. If anything this could only stand to draw more attention to himself and presumably lead to more listens (and consequentially money). Plus, it's clear that is biggest concern was that he wasn't paid more.

It's really more of a waddle I presume.

They had nothing to lose on the first season since it was funded by Kickstarter. Netflix would presumably be on the hook for the whole cost in Season 2. Granted I'm sure the whole season would cost them less than like an episode of House of Cards but it would still be a cost hike for Season 2.

It's good to know the creators gave as much a shit about last season as I did. It was really disappointing that the show started to rebound a bit a couple years ago but instead discovered why serialization isn't always the best. When the plot goes off the rails and it becomes clear that there are only two or three

Little did we all know she was referring to prescription drugs too.

I really can't blame her. When Fast Five came out, the series actually seemed to be making strides with actually making its female characters strong, independent women but starting with the seventh, they regressed hard under the auspices of "honoring the past of the series" (in other words before it was good)

I guess Linda Hunt was unavailable.

I'm pretty sure he wrote it as PG-13 (per studio's instructions) and then like plenty of films before and since, got rated R because of one stupid thing. It was only later on that the film was changed to being more kid focused (probably intelligently so from a financial standpoint at least) and recut it to be PG.

Aardvarks everywhere go on alert.
