Sean Bean will always be Alec Trevelyan for me. "For England James?" "No, for me".

I think HBO is also dipping because their old strategy of appealing simultaneously to a bunch of niches and popular shows which are all well reviewed is facing competition from so many other networks putting out quality shows in those areas and the market share just not being enough for them outside of those big shows…
Yeah I did. When they are saying things like Second Chance was merely unlikely to return and not superdead I think that says something. They've been like this in the past though so it was hardly shocking that any show not completely and obviously dead was still considered to have a chance by them.
I think it was Anger Management that popularized that notion since Tyler Perry had been doing it for years under the radar with his shows. Anger Management was also the show that failed (along with the other projects of theirs which didn't get passed 10) when it's ratings plummeted after high ratings for the first 10…
Deadline seems to think there will be one more season of Castle, possibly shortened, but then again Deadline is always fairly generous with shows' chances of survival. Supernatural will never die.
Boss probably would have done better if it had been more than a derivative and mediocre piece of television (in the one branch of television that demands quality) and also had the misfortune of being on Starz at the beginning of their venture into scripted programming. Partners was basically dead before it aired…
ABC is going to cancel more than one show. Just because The Catch is dead, it doesn't mean every other show is safe.
Counting on you Dr. Ken. Don't let me down.
Hooray! I missed that they posted a review for it earlier and it is my current lead for best bad show on TV.
Nostalgia and lowered actor rates to get a notable name is a heck of a combination.
Maybe she heard from Bradley Cooper about how sweet a gig that can be to produce a show based off a movie of yours and show up every once in a while.
I can't say I listen to the album much anymore (if I want to listen to some Converge I'll queue up Axe to Fall) and it certainly had more of a place for me when I was a bit younger, but it does still hold up. The title track in particular is an awesome epic.
1) I'm not having it

Yes. It's usually pretty funny but certain characters can get on my nerves at times.
I love Stardust but it seems like most people were disappointed by how it was adapted. To be fair I've never read the book.
Saoirse Ronan is always great but her best film is still Hanna (even if Atonement is surprising great).
Every once in a while it shows a hint of promise but mostly it is momentum at this point with a slight hint of hate watch. I actually quit the show once about two episodes in and then stupidly gave it another chance when Showtime reran a few seasons. I don't quit shows any later than the end of Season 1 so now I'm…
