It is also an adaptation of The Book of Job and perhaps the best look at the Jewish faith that I've seen.

I know people here aren't huge Kevin Smith fans and I won't pretend it is on the same level as The Life of Brian, but I thought Dogma likewise was a pretty great examination of religious dogma and the Catholic church itself while not rejecting the religion of belief. Sure it got way too talky and speechifying at

Last Temptation of Christ was such a disappointing movie in terms of expecting controversial content (there really is none), quality (it may be Scorsese's worst aside from his first two films), and in it's potential for exploration of the topic. The title event offers so much room to explore and really question his

It might feel like cheating but The Exorcist actually has a pretty great examination of personal faith in it with Father Karras.

Tell them all thanks for keeping it at a time convenient for me and thank you to you especially for forwarding that along.

I'm so excited that Nathan Fillion may be finally free from Castle after this year. The show just isn't very good anymore and he deserves better. At least he will hopefully have those big syndication checks rolling in for a long time to come.
