Beyond Thunderdome may be more quotable but it's still the third best movie in the series (not that that is an insult). Those kids though just derail things and it doesn't have the quality of car chases of either Road Warrior or Fury Road.

I just love that it uses a sample of a song called "Latino & Proud" for a show about two Jewish New Yorkers.

Quality does not equal rating success. Elementary could very easily do worse than CSI: Cyber in that spot.

It's past pilot ordering season (or at least I believe so) so that seems like as reasonable a reason as any other. The fact that his one big success story in that Thursday night lineup just collapsed would probably have doomed him anyway though.

With Paul Lee out I could see them clearing out some of the low rated stuff he kept around (Agent Carter which will die if that Lance Hunter/Mockingbird series gets ordered, Galavant, and American Crime).

Saw Deadpool on Thursday and I rather enjoyed it. I'm not a huge X-Men fan, but Deadpool was funny and unique enough to stand out and may now be my favorite of the series. Only real problem with it is that the more serious origin scenes were too long and at times felt like they were dragging the movie down.

I've read the Deadpool/Hawkeye comic special before and it was fine. That's all I got though I do plan on seeing it tomorrow.
