I'm honestly curious to see which of us watched more TV shows this year. I really hope it wasn't me.

There was an absurd amount of good TV. Even crazy people (not that I know any like that) can't keep up with all of them.

Fine, you want to go with 40 shows AV Club, I'll raise you and go with an unnecessary 50 shows. For the record these are all shows I'd consider rather good although not all the ones I liked and certainly nowhere near all the ones I watched.

In terms of Critic's Choice Awards
Downey Jr. was nominated for the Avengers and Iron Man 3
Paltrow for Iron Man 3?
Evans for Winter Soldier
Pratt for Guardians
Saldana for Guardians
Rudd for Ant-Man (see above)
Plus a bunch of Saturn Awards, etc.

That's just the look Harrison Ford always gives anymore regardless of who or what he is staring at.

The Critic's Choice Awards nominations always seem to be the best group of award nominations in quality and especially in picking up shows like You're the Worst and Penny Dreadful that get ignored by the bigger ones.

Unlikely any time soon. Scheer put the show on hiatus.

I liked the first two seasons but Adult Swim refuses to rerun the rest of the show and they haven't released the rest to DVD so if you wanted to catch up it's off to the alternative sources.

AV CLUB NEEDS ARTICLES

I can certainly swing a half hour drive for the the movie event of December.

Worked all weekend (I had really been getting used to 3 day weeks instead of 4 but what are you gonna do) and now get to be at work while rather unexpectedly sick.

They've been back in the Sci-FI game for a while now what with Defiance, 12 Monkeys, Dark Matter, Killjoys, and Continuum even if the last 3 are rebroadcasts of Canadian shows.

By any chance was there a nearby open portal to a hell dimension he could be pushed into?

As someone who watched Trophy Wife and a good number of the cameo's she's done but doesn't watch SNL, she's probably one of the few recent SNL people I could pick out.

Probably just stands out more in their heads because it was a brief burst of sunlight amidst so much darkness.

I felt that final phone call between him and Mia was an even better handled emotional moment.

Apparently my TV guide refers to the show as Luther 2015 seemingly in an attempt to get me to miss it since my DVR didn't recognize it as part of the series. I should probably take that as a sign.

Thanks Mike & Molly for apparently bumping me all the way up to second place for now.

They have too many similarly rated sitcoms and not enough room for them on the schedule. Mike and Molly already reached syndication numbers and while I'm sure McCarthy's salary ain't cheap, actors' salaries and production costs always increase later in a show's run.
