Had off Friday as a makeup for having Thanskgiving fall on a day I normally had off anyway.

I do hope if they went that way, that those other ones actually get developed. While it is partly because that format meant so few extant episodes for each non-Jamie companion, I felt like most of the companions of that era were pretty forgettable.

It depends on how much you consider each Doctor a separate character. Nine died for Rose, Ten did if not for Donna then he did for her grandfather and that's not to mention the last time he tried to undo a fixed point death for a companion when Ten tried to save Adelaide.

While I do feel bringing back Clara undid much of the power of "Face the Raven", I'm still very pleased with the ending they did provide. The last episode emphasized how trying to be the Doctor did Clara in, here those same tendencies give her and Me a happy ending while still making the consequences for her actions

This has always been the thing though. He had the indie hit with Fruitvale Station, now the bigger $35 Million movie with Creed and blockbuster is the next step up. Not going to fault Marvel for chasing someone with two critical and financial hits instead of the 90's thing of hiring music video directors or

That's just how you talk.

I knew about it at the time and I caught the occasional episode (especially in reruns post cancellation) but I didn't watch too many first run TV shows until Fall 2008 and by that time it was just one of dozens of projects I meant to get around to.

HBO has been showing Foul Play lately on both main and sub channels which is probably the only reason that answer jumped in my head.

I actually caught part of the episode tonight and it was just embarrassingly bad. All three contestants looked completely lost and like they had just wandered into the game by mistake.

Tony Todd will always be Candyman to me, but The Man From Earth is hardly a bad film to be known for and I really liked it in all it's low key, talky glory.

I figured and hoped he was one of those ones that had survived long enough that he was just going to wind up as one of those who inexplicably survived to old age.

Thanks to the TV Club Classic reviews here, I finally got around to watching Futurama (or at least the run on Fox) and really enjoyed the show much more than when I was watching an episode here and there.

The reason the second Iraq War wasn't more popular is because Raymond Burr wasn't still around to tell us what to think about it.

We all know that Americans don't care about what is happening in a foreign nation unless there's an American there to be impacted by it.
