The G70 in general is an unicorn. The G70 manual is the rarest of them all.

It was my 3rd day as a licensed driver and my car was only 3 days old as well. I was waving at my friend going maybe 10~20 MPH... then knocked the hell out of a huge mailbox. I drove the car with a busted fender and light for a while. I was in high school. Everyone knew about it.

How beige and boring is it?

That is some Murican boomer ass collection right there.

YES

Black Mirror?

Hyunda/Kia/Genesis blind spot camera in the cluster. I don’t know why everyone is not doing it. Did they patent it or something?

What’s this

This happens way too often. Fucking beat up trucks doing sketchy hauling. I see it all the time. My friend had to redo the whole front twice last years because those fucks.

Was there even anything somewhat production ready?

The last generation Veloster Turbo! full funk and some fun but that was basically an Accent with funk. The current one is less funk but a far better car.

I don’t think “$7000 vehicle” is a good ruler but we all know there are crap tons of people abusing the system. I used SNAP for some months as I was coming off of homelessness. I got rid of it as soon as I got back on my feet. I could have kept it and buy nicer things. It’s so easy to abuse it and we all know it. Swipe

I like Taco(ma)s but good god they are overpriced.

It’s pretty damn dismal for today’s standard regardless. No shit nobody buys this to break 0-60 sec but still gutless. A Prius can do a lot of things too if you try.

The V8 was thirsty and gutless. Dismal numbers throughout compared to almost any other comparable powertrains. Yea, it would last longer than others with simple maintenance but it was getting way too outdated.

Kia’s decision to go amber DRL is a simple touch but stands out really well in the sea of white LED DRLs. Those amber DRLs only come with the top trim of the Telluride, 50k a pop.

I stopped at a Kia dealership yesterday (I was waiting for someone nearby) There was zero Telluride. All sold out.

The thing is... everything else is better.

Mazda should be worried about its own survival in the US. They were coming back some years ago with some attractive products and doing good then... they got stuck and stopped there. Years later... Mazda isn’t up to date anymore. They are about a generation older than everyone else already with nothing promising

Cars in general are not only much faster but people are driving much faster as well. That’s in the dog slow territory in today’s standard. We don’t dial numbers anymore. We even went past pushing buttons. We are touching screens. Smart phone is not just a thing but essential. I work in an industry where many old farts
