I’m actually more afraid of dying from alcoholism.
Yea, cars in “pleasure” category might not come down as quick compared to the ones in “need” category.
4th gear: Japan just started feeling the heat. Their government kept the reality in the shadow in fear of not being able to host the Olympic and to keep their faces. Japan is considered to be one of the most modern nations but their government is really backward. (see how they handle every single disaster) They are in…
Also... it’s been a decade since the last recession. Oh.. it’s on.
Toyota stopped investing on this thing a lonnnnnng time ago. Not much money to be made there. It was trailing behind the G80 bad. Smart maybe but killing off a well known product? hmmm... I always liked the GS. Shame, many Japanese brands let their products rot here and there in this hyper competitive industry.
The comment section shows how irresponsible many Jalops are.
I’m waiting for the housing market to crash. It just went past the 2008 recession’s housing market. I knew it was about to burst and the virus came outta nowhere. Oh... it’s happening. I’ve been saving for a long time.
The leader himself urges people to go against them. America is in for a long ride for this because of stupidity.
If every driver(operator) kept up with -10 level maintenance... dreamy?
I thought it was rather a simpler thing wrench on. I don’t recommend it as a primary transportation though. It’s a toy. I’d actually drive it pretty often for now as my commute is pretty damn short (5 miles) but I wouldn’t get it on freeway drive.
I like it... I’ve worked on it for years (military service) The truck is really simple and easy to work on but... my question is...are the parts easy to come by?
I haven’t even done a brake job yet but no. My mom’s had 2 Hyundais... no problem there either.
I drive mine pretty hard. The rear suspension isn’t the greatest design but don’t expect much from a torsion beam setup. I haven’t done any repair other than a couple collisions. Just routine services. Almost 10 years old. The factory NAV and everything still work like new and drives like new. Thought about replacing…
It’s probably the best car Hyundai produced. A bit dull driving but super reliable and well packaged. The interior even felt luxurious at the time. I remember this car sweeping all the awards. My favorite Hyundai design along with the 1st gen Veloster.
Come to think of it... it does remind me of the new Elantra.
The dynamic of death is different. People can choose to avoid to be one of those numbers but not this one. Things will start opening up once we have it under control (recovery > spreading) NY state has posted decrease in hospitalization in the past week. This means the measure is working and we should be able to see…
We do not know how bad the economy is going to turn out in the next year or so. Smart ones will be careful with their expenditures and save. I’ve been eyeing an upgrade for some time. Not happening unless the wheels fall off.
I think many(those who don’t have to be physically present at work) will stay home working even after the pandemic. Why drive hours when you can get the same thing done at home? It will ease out traffics too. I live in LA county and traffic here is agonizing.
I was about 3 months away from finishing my education but there is no way in hell I’m going back anytime soon whether they want to open or not until I have access to some kind of proven cure or vaccine.
