You are overestimating the crowd shops because MuRiCA.

Rest in peace Escalade. I will reserve my full opinion yet but mah gawd... what happened to the face.

Hmmmm... let’see GA. Besides owning(renting or whatever)

A few good AnP can fix that.

I think they are adding DCT to Veloster N next year. Maybe that 2.5T too!

It’s for the people that are still in the “good ol” 20th century. Stay outdated my friends.

You are somewhat older and now able to afford a midlife crisis car. You are imagining yourself cruising down the highway in a red Corvette then you look at the reality. A Corvette in your garage is nice but in reality, you need more than a two seat sports car for practical reasons. All of sudden, GM shows up with a

You are glad a stylish powerful luxury roadster is dead? Where did it hurt you? BRO?

I think it’s really going to happen though. The halo N model is coming for sure. It could be the Genesis Coupe successor but that’s too boring for someone builds a car like the Veloster N. I think what else could it be other than a midengined sports car (which they probably know how to work with by now)

The first gen Veloster looked fast and sporty but was essentially a funky styled Accent. The current gen shares the platform with the Elantra family.

2012 Hyundai Concept....

Wow... looks about a decade old on arrival.

The segment isn’t too hot... but imagine, a track ready mid engine sports car under 50k(it could be lower but it needs to trump the Veloster N, so maybe RWD 350+hp?) You WILL notice it.

Ah, you have the first gen. I’m sorry, you are probably stuck with it for a while. Dirt cheap to maintain and refuses to break but horrible resale value. Maybe it will enter “rad” status sometime.

I’m on my 3rd brand new car. The first one had 25k miles when I sold it, the 2nd one had 20k miles when sold. The current one is sitting at 54k and haven’t had to do any repair work done. I want a new car. But... it’s so damn cheap to maintain, I can’t think of a good reason to replace it. It’s a 2011 Elantra.

Agreed. The face lifted G90 and the K900 interiors are freaking impressive. Hoping the rest of lineups follow the suit.

Steal? the CPO 2nd gen Hyundai Genesis(basically the G80) and the Hyundai Equus are like a freaking highway robbery. They are still under warranty and freaking dirt cheap. Probably way cheaper to maintain too.

I’ve been to some luxury dealerships in affluent neighborhoods, i.e. Beverly Hills. They weren’t much better than the Hyundais I’ve been to. Also the luxury dealership experiences don’t really mean anything if you don’t have to go so often. I spend about a grand total of maybe an hour at dealership annually.

You know why the Genesis’ interior looks a bit dated? because it’s overdue for the next gen. The new one will hit the showroom next year.
