Bought a previous generation Elantra. It serves purpose very well as an appliance and has been reliable so far. Except... you never sacrifice power for efficiency if you take pleasure in driving. I made a mistake.

The car seems to be in excellent condition accounting how old it is and how much mileage it has. I wouldn’t bank on how “easy” it is to find parts though. Besides the condition it still is a 20 year old highly complex car. You are going to have to deal with some issues big or not.
