    I bought my wife a Nook for Christmas (her first portable device - actually she didn't even have a PC or use things like e-mail or the Web) and now she loves it! Read books and her mag. subscriptions, watches some TV shows and a few old family videos I added for her and plays a few games. But then she discovered how

    My wife has used an old 1950's era waffle iron to make the greatest grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had in my life!!

    I own a Nook Tablet. Don't waste your time and money unless you just want to just read books, send e-mail and surf the web on the crummy browser. Oh, and if you also want to purchase a lot of sub-standard apps or a few really good apps that are free from "that other appstore"!! Can you say ROOT? Just buy a tablet.
