Your explanation of 5 has me crying with laughter.  :D

It just seems like it’s really done well. Not hacked together like some of the other ones I’ve seen. I like my old cars all original... but when it is done right. Like really done well, i think a blend of old style and new technology is just magic.

I was out of work suddenly, and took a job out of desperation for a few months. About 30 miles away, but commuting from the northwest side of Columbus to the southeast side - through the heart of the city, at the worst time to do so.

UPDATE: It appears that the problem was that some wires were zip-tied to a power steering hose, so when the steering wheel moved, the hoses and wires moved as well, and over time the zip-tied wires inched their way into a position where when the wheel was turned to the right, the wires were getting yanked. I snipped

Did the problem start when you replaced the alternator?  If so, that’s the first place to look.

My ‘99 sonoma did this a few times before catching fire. Turns out the cable going to the starter wasn’t in the proper clips and was pinched against the frame - on hard right turns the frame flexed and eventually wore through the insulation and shorted the electrics.

I know it’s a lot newer, but I had a Dodge Neon that did this. It would actually blow the PCM fuse each time I made a sharp left turn. I chased that gremlin for weeks, then when I had to replace the alternator, found the power wire inside the alternator had corroded and was making contact with the metal shell on left

There were a few like that In FM4 too that you couldn’t own but would come on the auction house by people who obtained them somehow, albeit very rarely. I know one was the STi S204, and the Mazda RX7 spirit R. I think the top secret Supra/s15 Silvia were in that boat too.

Does it have power-steering? The steering box could be bad...hits something while turning to the right, puts a heavy load on the pump, which puts a load on the motor?

Lol. Watched it last Tuesday when I wanted something awful to enjoy. It was perfect. Except, yes, for the lack of title-promised car.

Pitch Perfect is disappointingly not about baseball.

This, this is the kinda pedantic thinking I like.

Don’t make me watch that abomination again, just to see what car Gerard Butler did drive in the movie.

Best reply, pack it up, go home everyone

You laugh, I watched The Town and legit kept waiting for the movie to happen in some rural town.

It’s actually not too hard to mod the RSR at comes in last year’s double-set into a Carrera.

Watching Geostorm will make one sad.

So a race is a challenge, something humans love to give ourselves, be it walking to the poles or driving the Dakar or around a racetrack real fast. Making a robot do it would be boring. A robot does stuff efficiently and wouldn’t have fun, so why the hell should I be invested with what is basically roombas with ground

That took me way too long. Time to go home.
