Why are we like this?

My family returned to the US in 1960. Fast food and especially McDonalds had grown much more common in the 3.5 years we were out of the country. I thought McDonalds was great. A&W  was  another favorite and when I went to the University of Oklahoma, I was introduced to Sonic. I still like all three.

My brain is a library of weird and pointless things I remember for apparently no reason. It’s exhausting and has limited value other than calling coworkers and bloggers out on inconsistencies.

Got my ‘68 Cutlass when I was in college in 1995. Not my first car, but the first car I bought with my own money. It steps in as my daily every time my newer car lets me down (like this week).

I can’t read Twitter anymore without hearing generic late night comedian impressions of everyone’s favorite orange supremacist.

It probably originated from the fact that they could outrun police cars _in Japan_, which at one point were deliberately limited to be unable to go over certain speeds for safety purposes (which is no longer the case I believe, though I could well be way off about any of this).

Just point them in the direction of all the competitors to the GTR sold in the US new. Supra, Rx7, NSX, 3000gt and more.
