Well, I agree that the front end is a lot less bland than the usual cars you see driving around, but from the front clip back, it just looks like every other anonymous jellybeanmobile, whereas other muscular cars like Mustangs and Camaros have interesting styling all around.

I like the CTS-V, but I think the reason the CTS-V didn’t work out was because, quite frankly, the styling was a bit bland. People who want muscular cars tend to want cars that stand out a bit, hence the popularity of the Challenger, Mustang, and Camaro. The CTS-V, even though it was really good, probably failed

The one movie car replica I’ve always wanted to build is the Weasleys’ flying Ford Anglia. It seems like it would be pretty simple, as all it is really is blue and white paint and a button. And maybe an overpowered engine, rally suspension, and a rollcage so I can go “flying” off of jumps.

My suggestion is to buy an early 60's Dodge Lancer wagon. It’s technically not an SUV, but it looks space-age, the slant-six engine is insanely reliable and easy to fix, and it’s old and American and therefore comfortable. It’ll easily carry you, a large man, your sister, your dog, and whatever else you want to bring.

I don’t mind the weird body kit. It’s quirky, and I like me some quirky cars. Obviously, it’s not for everyone, but based on the prices I usually see decent 914's selling for, this looks pretty good. NP.

I don’t honk my horn much, because the last time I honked my horn, the noise that burst forth was not a proud, forceful blast like you would expect from a mid-sixties ‘Murican personal luxury car. Instead, the sound that occurred was like a devastating combination of every mournful wail, teenage voice-crack, agonized

It was a pretty fun dream. Almost as much fun as the time I dreamed I had a brown ‘74 Honda Civic on a lifted Geo Tracker frame with an LS engine. Or the dream I had last Christmas where I discovered that Santa’s sleigh looks like my ‘66 Thunderbird, but with jet engines. I think I have a very Jalopniky subconscious.

Last night, I dreamed that, you, me, and Fancy Kristen were in a 1913 Metz, which had been converted to use a proximity key and Bluetooth for some odd reason. You were sitting in the back seat, trying to explain how to drive the thing; I was in the driver’s seat, failing to drive the thing properly; and Fancy Kristen

How is GM any less safe than literally any other american car from the 60's? (this is coming from someone who daily drives a ‘66 Ford Thunderbird, by the way) I’ve talked to Corvair owners and they all told me that their Corvairs had extremely good handling, and that they felt totally safe driving the things quickly.

On a slightly unrelated note, last night I dreamed that I was driving a 1913 Metz which had been converted to use a proximity key while Torch was sitting in the back seat teaching me how to drive the thing and offering emotional support while Fancy Kristen sat in the passenger seat looking appropriately

Well, personally I think both the early and later ones look equally good, just in different ways, but I do think it would be cool to swap a later Corvair subframe onto one of the early Corvairs.

They are a bit more expensive than Miatas, but that’s why I mentioned the four-door. In the classic car world, many people will pay big bucks to own a car that has two doors instead of four, and the result is that four-door cars tend to be worth a fraction of the price of coupes. If you don’t mind the look of a couple

I say go full-on American Porsche and buy a Chevy Corvair. If possible, get one of the post-1964 Corvairs because they have better handling, and get a four-door because they’re cheaper. If you can find one with the optional turbo, that’s even better.

Is it just me, or does it look ever so slightly like a 911 from the rear?

I made some Wookie cookies once. They were really Chewie...

International House Of...

Wow. I’m amazed. Not by the people climbing through a drive-thru window, but by the fact that this is a new article about Chick Fil A that doesn’t mention controversial charities.

Strangely, I think this Chevordrolet truck looks more appealing than the Ford and Chevy trucks.

Are you excited about the new Star Track movie? I hear it has Hans Olo in it!

All I care about is whether or not Renault will bring the Alpine A110 to America.
