Driveable” was meant to describe specifically the upside-down Camaro, but I suppose it would be kind of annoying if someone parked a giant interesting object in their yard without ever trying to get it running.

I really, really want to import one of these, restore it to concourse condition, take it to a concourse event, and confuse the crap out of everybody. I’d probably have to get the wagon variant, as nobody would take the pickup truck seriously, though. Not that getting the wagon variant would be a bad thing, of course.

Perhaps in name, but it looks to not be very similar to the old one. The new one is more of an off-road minivan, which is similar but not quite the same thing.

Not sure what the issue is, here.

Agreed. ‘60s and ‘70s hot rods and customs were just so creative, and who doesn’t enjoy staring at a show rod’s gloriously, impractically, ridiculously large modified engine/engines?

I’ve wondered why nobody seems to make off-road vans like the Delica anymore, and then I realized that it’s probably because everyone who wants a van like that is perfectly satisfied with the Delica.

Agreed, those things are awesome.

I can’t believe it. I am a person who always advocates for saving every old vehicle if there’s even a slight chance that it can be fixed, and even I thought that that Jeep was too far gone and just needed to be parted out. The fact that you somehow got that thing running again astounds me. It’s so beat up and worn

It really is. I hate pictures like that.

I’d be disappointed by it being an electric car, but if we’re being honest, small gas engines (with the exception of some motorcycle engines) generally don’t sound or feel that great. Personalitywise, it makes little difference whether it’s electric or not when it comes to microcars. This thing looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah, I get that some people just want to drive something that’s functional, but my main issue is with people who hate on people who like a bit of variety because it makes life interesting. If you want to drive a silver crossover because you actually genuinely like the silver crossover, that’s okay, but don’t insist

You have a ‘61? Sweet! I have a ‘66 Thunderbird, and I love it. Unfortunately, it has drawn negative attention from the local HOA, who which doesn’t like my lack of hubcaps (they kept falling off, which got tiresome fast). Keep driving that T-bird, and you will beautify every place you park it. :)

It seems to me that the reason why people always buy boring cars is the same reason why people all participate in the same trends and do the same stupid internet challenges and wear the same fashions and generally try to be like everybody else. There is an unfortunately widespread cultural lie that says that in order

I like that car and I would support your decision to buy it, but please, If you do, take rust prevention very, very, seriously. The poor thing is rare and rust-prone, so you’d need to be willing to do whatever it takes to stop the destructive power of road salt. Otherwise, go for it.

Yeah. I’ve been drinking water this whole time and I had no idea it made me a punk.

They hassled this guy because his truck’s paint is worn? That’s nothing. My HOA hassled me because my ‘66 Thunderbird didn’t have hubcaps. They saw my lack of hubcaps as an indicator that my car must be inoperable, which was a BIG no no for cars parked outside. Okay, so they didn’t threaten to take my house (they

I gave you a star for using the word “kleptocrat”.

I’ve heard about that feature! I love that feature. All cars should have it.

YES YES YES YES YES. This is one of my favorite stories in all of motorsport history. I’ve been waiting for a movie like this. I sure hope they do it well.
