Except Siri has been around for over a year or so… everyone forgets there was actually a Siri app for the iPhone before Apple bought it, removed it, and made it a 4S exclusive. Sure it wasn't as good as it is now, but at one point we all could have had Siri on our 3GS's and 4's.

Guess people just got used to it from the get-go. Before I had Whatsapp on all my phones I just used GroupMe for all my messaging needs, worked well, slick interface, worked over web and all over the world... Beat the hell out of the stock group SMS option on iOS and androids.
