When I go to Costco with someone who wants to sit and have a bite before/afterwards, for twenty years my only choice as a vegetarian has been exactly “slice of cheese pizza” or some sort of dessert. Blaming climate change for a city’s complete lack of priority on infrastructure and desalination/water purification plant investments is pretty crass. While climate change is a big deal, it doesn’t excuse horrendous infrastructure.
