I just had this crazy thought: Two DDG captains playing "Connect Four" with missiles and shipping containers...hahaha.

I had a Matchbox of one of these too!!!

Aren't the engines in the 2014+ Silverados/Sierras all new? I know the displacement is the same, but I didn't think it was a carry over engine from the prior body style.

Well, to be fair, the driver did *ONLY* graze that utility pole...

My understanding is that there is structural steel underneath that plastic on the Avalanche. The Avelanche was closer to a Suburban then the Silverado, and it needed the reinforcement to reduce twisting after losing part of it's roof.

Came here to post a Down Periscope reference...

Where's the Dart version?!

2006 Lincoln LS has been by far my most disappointing car. I love the way they look - beautiful cars. I had wanted one since they had come out. I had the opportunity to buy a cherry example in 2012 with less then 25,000 miles on it. It had the V8, sport package, black with a tan interior. The prior owner had

I'd love to see a production version!!! I like that it looks fairly close to stock - unlike the Fiesta.

I would consider the life of the pilot to be much more valuable then the lost aircraft.

Rather that be a battery swap or getting more longevity. If allowed to do so, the race teams would figure out the best way.

I think it would be cool for Jalopnik to do an article on Ernie Francis Jr. He is a kid that races in Pirelli World Challenge. Started out in touring cars at 15 or 16 running a Mazda2 and has since spent time in other classes.

I hear we have a couple of these laying around...

They need to paint silhouettes of tornados for every successful "intercept" in the same way they do for aircraft or tank kills.
