I said this in response to someone else but the whole thing just kind of transphobic and body shamey to me, like the only real evidence that he is transitioning is his really old plastic surgery, is aging physique, and his ponytail and I’m pretty sure just having those three things doesn’t make him trans

Perhaps if he kept referring back every question to something he found “FASCINATING” in A Brief History of Time, having just read it.

I feel like he would do that, he doesn’t seem like the type to open up a lot

Can we get a number to call, or an address? It’s funny what a thousand phone calls can do.

a whole show JUST about his helicopter passion would be genius!

I'd love it if he talked about the accident he was in where a person died. I mean. He can transition if he likes. That's nobody's fucking business unless he wants it to be. But a car accident in which he may be at fault and a person died? That's something to ask him about.

Now playing

“Hello Diane. *Coughs, pauses* As everyone knows, I’m very passionate about remote control helicopters...”

People have bad days. Octavia Spencer is still a queen.

“Hello Bruce!”

I agree that major label contracts tend to not favor the artist, but when you’re a new artist being signed, you don’t really have much of a say in anything. You have no leverage, you’re a nobody.

And I highly doubt that Jay-Z’s model is going to be much better, unless you are Madonna and actually have a say in the contract that you negotiate with your label. The “artist-owned” thing is a nice term, but there is no way that is happening. “Major label-owned” would be a better name.

Was Beyonce’s basic piano playing just supposed to be for affect? No one’s asking you to be John Legend or Alicia Keys, Bey.

Tidal has managed to make me feel a strange sort of intense loyalty to Spotify, which is something I never thought possible. Somehow, I don’t think that’s what Jay-Z was going for.

Had to look this up. The second guy on the left seems terrifying.

eeesh. University Ave has gotten ridiculous! It used to be much more friendly and quaint and much less...full of Cheesecake Factories and, apparently, shops staffed with robots.

I miss my island home. Hawaii will have a special place in my heart, despite all the awful stuff that happened there, despite it being notoriously expensive, despite being stuck around people who didn’t want to leave the island.

I don’t like telling people I grew up in Palo Alto because of the preconceived notions of what Palo Alto is like. I hated it so much when I lived there and it’s only gotten more obnoxious. However, it’s a beautiful place to live, near so many nice things, my parents are there (my friends aren’t - too absurdly

Yes white people she's a robot. That's the look she was going for.

Do people still believe KJ’s lips and nose are ‘make-up tricks’, the kind of thing ‘anyone can do’?
