It's not a gimmick at all. It's genuinely awesome. Other family members want to use the TV? No problem! Time for a bathroom break? No problem! It's hugely convenient and fun to use. It's actually far more useful than all the ridiculous media center stuff being pushed by the Xbox, which has nothing to do with, y'know, g

It's really sickening to see the CEOs of companies like Walmart continue to make probably as much as a whole local store makes in profits yearly, even while they refuse their employees a livable wage.

Yeah, assholes are assholes. And, as we all know, men are constantly being raped, beaten, and killed by asshole women in huge numbers around the world every day. So naturally, women and men will have exactly the same fears and exactly the same reactions to harassment.

Yes, all HBO shows are heavily pirated. But as I said, unlike True Detective or Game of Thrones, the viewership of Girls is likely to be almost entirely made up of Millennials who don't subscribe to HBO.

Millennials are watching all of those shows for free though. The difference with the other shows is that older people are also watching, and actually paying. Girls is bound to have a small viewership outside the millennial (aka torrent/streaming) demographic. Yet HBO obviously still feels the show is important,

More people who subscribe to HBO (read: older people) watch Veep, sure. I'd bet GoT also has a larger number of older viewers than something like Girls, and its audience certainly includes more males.

Jezebel is free, and of course it's free because no one would pay for it. Girls/HBO costs money, and few Millenials subscribe to HBO. There are vast numbers of people watching Girls who don't show up in the ratings. I can pretty well guarantee that Dunham is vastly more influential than Jezebel, but nice try guys.

Homophobes, racists, misogynists, and anti-Semites. If there's one thing they all have in common, it's that they're always sure they're not wrong.

You're forgetting about straight privilege, as if it doesn't even exist. Half the comments on this article are straight women complaining about how gay men are yucky.

"I know a few women that are awful and treat me like shit.

To quote you, with a slight alteration:

"No more will I attempt to curtail my gross generalizations or bigotry! This article has given me license to be a homophobic moron to my heart's content!" -cptodd

The trend will finally come full circle when names like "Susan" and "Barb" and "Sharon" are considered trendy again. Right now they are "older mom" names, but by the time today's children are having children of their own, they'll sound quaint and grandmotherly.

Your stats are certainly wrong (for Canada at least) so that invalidates the rest of what you just said.

It was meant to be funny, not informative.

If there were more great Android games I'm sure he'd review them. The fact is, developers don't make as much money on Android games because they're much easier to pirate and people in Google's ecosystem spend less on apps.

Ah, got it - thanks!

Is there a non-hack way to get Mew in X/Y?

Like the Wii U, the Dreamcast actually came on the scene at the end of the N64/PSX/Saturn generation. It was more powerful than any of those consoles, but (again - like the Wii U), it was less powerful than the truly next-gen consoles that were on the way.
