Retina displays are about DPI. Not resolution. The retina display was a huge leap forward in DPI. The crispness and clarity of the iPhone 4 was unprecedented.

I think "CRAYP" for crepe is the standard North American pronunciation so I'd like to take issue with that one. Since we're talking about a loanword that has become part of the English language, it matters less how it's pronounced in French than how it's pronounced by most English-speakers.
